The European Judo Youth League was created by the European Judo Union after a study involving EJU national federations, based on their experience and existing competions for 13-15 year-old judoka.

At this crucial age it is important to provide these young judoka with a quality competition that will ensure long-term development and also provide a positive environment where valuable experience can be gained whilst building towards the future.

With these aims in mind the European Judo Union has prepared recommendations for coaches who work with U15 judoka and created rules for a team event for clubs where youths will get the chance to compete on a regional, national and European level, tailored for this particular age group.

We invite all EJU member federations to join this project and have your national youth league promoted on a European scale.
